Repeated complaints regarding low flying by high powered jets in the Northumberalnd area have resulted in Members calling an emergency meeting of Wooler Parish Cooncil. Representations by members in which it was noted that the low altitude of the jets was terrifyiong local residents were made. Following a protracted discussion, the decision was made to lower Wooler by 500'. Digging will commence at the end of next month.
