Residents of West Acres, Alnwick have vehemently denied claims made in a newly published tourist guide that a "voodoo" style cult is "rife" on their estate. The guide published by Doxford Press advises visitors to avoid the area because the illegal cult of Wewashiwe is practiced there. Mr Cecil Duvalier (pictured) chairman of West Acres residents association said the claim was "poppycock".
