Local police arrested a Longhoughton man who was selling photos of his wife for £10 each claiming they would keep away double glazing salesmen, born again Christians and aliens from outer space if you place one in each window of your house. A police spokesman said “these photographs are clearly worth at least £35 and one on your front door would be more than enough”
