Shelter for Swarland

A new bus shelter in Swarland will be completed this week after seventeen years construction at a cost of 1.4 million pounds. Workers are currently adding the the finishing touches to the shelter which has three sides a roof and is fully equipped with a plank nailed to two posts to sit on. Visiting the site this week Swarland resident Bob Ingupandown who had campaigned for the bus shelter said he was delighted that his dream had come true. He said “Whey it’s barrie” Mr. Ingupandown was anxious to point out that the bus - shelter is not merely for the residents of the parish but for all local people and even prior to its opening has four people standing in it
